Global & Green - our Environmental Focus

At Hoshizaki Lancer, the state of our environment is very important to us, and for many years we have focussed on making our products and processes as environmentally compliant as possible.

We are now proud to boast a range of products and production plants that not only meet, but exceed established environmental standards. 

This aim is summarised in our corporate philosophy:

"Good products come from a good environment"

and we strive to address this in many aspects of our organisation.

Our Hoshizaki Eco Plan allows us to focus on continuous improvement of our products, and the Hoshizaki Green Foundation undertakes projects to preserve our natural environment.

Our aim to be an environmentally responsible organisation led us to achieve ISO 14001 Certification. Hoshizaki America is the first and only food service equipment manufacturer in the USA to achieve ISO 14001 certification.

Hoshizaki Lancer is also the only Australian company in our industry to achieve independant accreditation for our Quality, Safety and Environmental systems. 

This certification requires stringent environmental management systems, and its recipients must:

• identify and control the environmental impact of its activities, products or services;
• continually improve its environmental performance; and
• implement a systematic approach to setting environmental objectives and targets, achieving these and demonstrating that they have been achieved.

Our certified Integrated Management System now operates in all our factories, along with proactive "environment" themed business activities on all sites.

When building a new factory, we first address harmony with the local natural environment. Large "green" spaces at each factory not only create the ideal manufacturing environment, but also bring peace and comfort to our employees and the local residents.
