We’re nearing the end of July, so thought it timely to check in and see how our Managing Director, Joe Thorp’s coping with Dry July. Here’s what he had to say:
“I've suffered through farewell dinners and boys nights, I've had Japanese without an Asahi, and learned to eat a lamb roast without a glass of red. Temptation everywhere but not a moment of weakness.
“On a positive note I'm feeling great waking up clear headed every morning, especially knowing it's for a really great cause.
“To all my customers at Lion, CUB and Coopers: don't panic! I'll be enjoying your products again soon.”

The Royal Adelaide Beer Show results were announced on Friday, and were dominated by a boutique Adelaide Hills brewer.
Lobethal Bierhaus won four of the ten trophies, including our Lancer Beverage Systems Trophy for Champion Small Brewery.
Seems appropriate given we supplied and installed all the beer dispensing equipment and draught beer dispense systems at their brewery!
The awards were held at the Griffins Head hotel and included a mix of boutique and mainstream brewers.
The Royal Adelaide Beer Show recognises the importance of the Australian beer industry, which injects around $7 billion into the Australian economy each year.
It took two days to individually judge the 80 entries that were entered from across South Australia, New South Wales and Tasmania.

The Royal Adelaide Show has a long, proud history in South Australia, and we’re delighted to be involved in this year’s event.
We are donating our beer dispensing equipment for use in judging the draught beer competition for the Royal Adelaide Beer Show.
We are also sponsoring and supplying the Lancer Beverage Systems Trophy to the Champion Small Brewery (producing less than 5,000 hL per year).

We received some great recognition in this week's of The Advertiser regarding the great export month we’ve just had.
