Overview
Izakaya Chuji is one of Australia’s oldest Izakaya style restaurants. Established in 1989 it represents true Izakaya style dinning.
Izakaya’s are an institution in Japan and represent the perfect blend of restaurant and bar, where eating and drinking play equal parts.
Solution
Having worked with Hoshizaki sushi cabinets in Japan & being totally satisfied with our quality and reliability, Head Chef, Yasutsugu Yoshizumi, recommended that the Hoshizaki sushi cabinets be used at Izakaya Chuji.
During the recent renovation of the food preparation area one of our new HNC210BER-B Sushi Cabinets was installed. The cabinet works away silently to display the quality sushi, sashimi & wagu that Izakaya Chuji is famous for. Customers can easily see the freshness and quality from under the domed glass frontage of the Sushi Cabinet & the Chef has easy access for preparation through the sliding glass doors at the back.
The bar was renovated in 2009 and a KM50A crescent ice machine was chosen from our range of ice machines as the most suitable for the allocated space and for the required ice shape.
The crystal clear, individual crescent cubes are extremely cost effective to produce, melt slowly but cool beverages quickly so the customers experience isn’t diluted.
Results
Yasutsugu is extremely happy with the Hoshizaki Sushi Cabinets and Ice Makers and has made a commitment to continue specifying them into his future projects.
