Overview

Established in 2006 The Order of Melbourne is one of Melbourne’s finest and most diverse venues. It has facilities to cater for functions, ie birthday parties, corporate gatherings, brand launches and even recording industry launches, and also has a rooftop terrace bar, main bar, side bar and lounge area.

In late 2001 the venue owners identified a need to extend their beer product range beyond a couple of beer brands and now serves a variety of 6 beers including Blue Tongue, Blue Tongue Premium, Peroni and Grolsh.

Venue operators needed to extend the number of brands that they had on tap and offer a better variety of brands whilst utilising the very limited space they had available in their bar area.

Solution

Pacific Beverages working in collaboration with Lancer Beverage Systems designed and installed a new 8 Tap Beer System which included our Polaris Glycol System Chiller and our original Chiller Plate that allowed the venue to also dispense draught beer from the rooftop terrace bar which had previously only been able to served packaged beer.

Result

This has resulted in increased profits for the venue owners and happier consumers upstairs who prefer the theatre of a cold draught beer versus a packaged beer.
