Atop a historic building, eight floors above the corner of King William Street and North Terrace you will find the exciting new 2KW restaurant and bar.
Having opened in January 2015, the restaurant has quickly found itself on the Australian Financial Review’s list of top 500 restaurants.
The elegant, open and bright restaurant provides a balanced classy and casual dining experience.
It is obvious the venue attracts a variety of customers. Spotted amongst the patrons were ladies celebrating a 50th Birthday, businessmen having lunch, girls flaunting the latest fashion trends and couples on dates – all were enjoying either a crisp cold beer or chilled wine dispensed from Lancer beer and wine systems.
Solution
The venue owner wanted to offer his customers fresh and cold beer from eye-catching founts which act as a feature at every bar within his venue. The Bayfield style fount was selected as it requires minimal bar space yet maximizes product offering.
Lancer designed and installed a complete 32 tap beer system incorporating a Siberian Elite beer chiller which dispenses beer through four Bayfield 8 way copper plated founts.
For dispensing wines, Lancer installed a complete 10 tap wine dispense system and a Polaris Superchiller to keep all wines at the desired temperatures. 2KW has also installed a Hoshizaki KM-1300 ice machine which can produce up to 522kg of ice over a 24 hour period. For the safety of 2KW’s staff Lancer installed a Lancer Logico2 monitor in the cool room area.
Results
The Manager is happy with Lancer’s professionalism, design and state of the art installation of beer and wine dispensing systems.
Lancer has satisfied the customer’s demand by ensuring 2KW’s dispensing systems pour the coldest beer and wine at the desired temperature.
