Carindale Hotel

Overview

Carindale Hotel was demolished in December 2011 and rebuilt with a new design and layout becoming the linking point between the Westfield Carindale Shopping Centre and the Glasshouse Food Precinct.

The hotel features a 180 seat bistro, a secluded gaming room which offers a relaxing ambiance as well as an island café/ bar serving both indoor and outdoor terrace food and beverages.

Solution

As the venue was rebuilt, Lancer worked with Mount Cotton Constructions to install a new Lancer Glycol beer system and a C02 gas regulation system.

Ice cold beers on tap are presented on attractive 8 way, 4 way and 6 way Lancer Double Zenith stainless steel highly polished founts.

There are many bars in the hotel with six Lancer Taps in the Lounge bar, the large Bistro Bar is complete with eight taps, the Main Bar facing the food court area has eight taps installed and the Deck Bar is complete with four taps.

Beer is chilled by Lancers 10KW Siberian Glycol Chiller along with one 6 way , two 8 way and two 4 way Lancer Chiller Plates and delivered through 160 meters of Lancers Beer Python to the 30 Lancer taps on various founts.

The owners of Carindale Hotel have installed a Lancer C02 regulator board and a Lancer C02 Monitor which measures oxygen depletion and warns staff before they enter a non-naturally ventilated area to comply with the Australian Beverage Gas Standard AS5034.

Together with Lancer FOB’s and a washout system to simplify regular cleaning, Carindale Hotel has a highly effective beer system.

Results

The layout and design which Lancer Beverage and Mount Cotton Constructions designed was a success and the customer was very happy with the result.
