Grill’d CBD Wintergarden

Overview

Founded by Simon Crowe at Hawthorn in 2004, Grill’d has emerged as a national chain of approximately 50 high quality burger restaurants. Simon’s goal was:

“That our restaurants would only use the finest freshest ingredients, have the friendliest staff and the most delicious, healthy burgers”.

Featuring a funky, relaxed, grown up vibe Grill’d has enjoyed outstanding success taking burgers back to their healthy nutritious roots.

Solution

Grill’d menu image CSIn developing the new Grill’d CBD Wintergarden in Queen Street Mall in Brisbane, the client approached us with the idea of serving fresh cold beers on tap – a first for Grill’d.

In discussion we developed a brief for a 4 tap beer system with low C0² pressure to minimise keg carbonation.

Results

Grill’d CS TBar v2We were able to design a system featuring our Polaris Self Contained Beer Chiller together with the clean design of a four way stainless T Bar Fount supported by a coldroom system featuring Lancer beer pumps, an AS5034 compliant Beverage Gas system and a washout system to ensure ease of cleaning.

Patrons at Grill’d CBD Wintergarden Brisbane are now enjoying a great range of fresh ice cold beers on tap including Little Creatures, Stone & Wood as well as Dirty Granny Cider.
