Revolutionizing Hinchcliff House Sydney: A Case Study on Lancer Worldwide and Hoshizaki Installation

Hinchcliff House Sydney

Introduction:

In the heart of Sydney, Hinchcliff House embarked on a comprehensive transformation of its entire building ambiance through the implementation of state-of-the-art beverage systems by Lancer Worldwide, prominently showcasing Hoshizaki ice machines and refrigeration. This case study delves into the challenges faced, innovative solutions crafted, and the collaborative efforts that shaped the evolution of this iconic venue.

Challenges:

The project posed numerous challenges, particularly with the below-ground cellar, spanning multiple levels and bars. Routing pythons to dispense points, establishing a secondary keg room for rooftop service, and incorporating a variety of finishes to match each level’s theme were just a few hurdles encountered. The complexity intensified with the integration of a beer system, chilled water system, and a post mix element, all tailored to the client’s specific requirements.

Solutions:

Lancer Worldwide addressed the complexities with creativity and precision. They opted for flange panel mount taps on walls, evolving from the initial plan for advanced back bar configurations. The team seamlessly incorporated Hoshizaki equipment, including a chilled water system and post mix elements, meticulously aligning each component with the architectural and color scheme of the venue.

Collaborative Approach:

The collaboration extended beyond beverage systems, encompassing partnerships with preferred installers for food service and a refrigeration company for cool room construction. Lancer Worldwide orchestrated a comprehensive turnkey solution, ensuring a seamless integration of beer systems, post mix, water dispensing, and refrigeration.

Navigating Challenges:

With heritage walls as a constraint, the team faced the delicate task of routing pythons without violating heritage listings. The intricate mapping process involved meticulous planning to look after the heritage walls to preserve a valuable part of Sydney’s history. Operating from a central cool room on the lower ground to two separate levels presented additional complexities, requiring strategic planning and expertise.

Results:

The outcome of this collaborative effort is a state-of-the-art Hoshizaki site, surpassing the client’s expectations. From beer systems to post mix, water dispensing, and refrigeration, Hinchcliff House now stands as a testament to the successful partnership between Lancer Worldwide and Hoshizaki. The project’s success lies not only in overcoming challenges but in crafting a bespoke beverage experience that seamlessly integrates with the venue’s rich history and diverse themes.
