Rockpool Bar & Grill in Perth is the latest addition to Neil Perry’s restaurants. The first Rockpool was established in Sydney in 1989 and has gone from strength to strength with restaurants now in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

Rockpool Perth, which is at the iconic Burswood Entertainment Complex, is a $10 million development where no expense has been spared to bring the most amazing dining experience to Perth.

Solution

Lancer was contacted to design and manufacture a draught beer dispensing system that would be in keeping with the layout and feel of Rockpool. Lancer had recently developed its latest range of all stainless steel T-bar beer founts and it was decided that the single T-bar fount would deliver on style and substance and of course deliver the coldest draught beer possible.

In addition to this, we were asked to provide one of our top of the range ice machines that produces a 28mm ice cube for the high end award winning cocktails and spirits that were to be served. When it comes to cocktails and top shelf spirits, Hoshizaki is requested globally by mixologists for its ability to not dilute the drink and keep it icy cold, enhancing the drinker’s experience.

Results

A two beer tap draught beer dispensing system was installed into the very small coolroom area. The beer system consisted of Lancer’s famous Siberian glycol beer chiller system, Lancer glycol chiller plates and beer pumps to provide the most consistent drinks available. Included with this was our water filter system which provided chilled filtered water to the bar for glass rinsing.

Downstairs in the basement, our Hoshizaki IM-240DME-28 ice machine was installed on a B801SA ice storage bin. The IM-240DME-28 is Japanese engineered and constructed of long lasting stainless steel and produces in excess of 200kg of ice per day.
