Village Doncaster is the new jewel in the crown of Village Cinemas with State of the art facilities within a new environment focused on style, design, technology and comfort.

Built in 2009 in the recently renovated Westfield Doncaster shopping centre, the Cinema boasts 9 screens including 3 luxurious Gold Class Cinemas, 1 Cinema Europa screen featuring the latest in fine film plus a huge V-Max auditorium.

Solution

Because of the new direction in style, design and technology, a different approach was taken for their post mix dispensing solutions and ice production. Traditional post mix dispensing systems, whilst varied in presentation, were limited to a number of designs which had already been introduced to the market in previous years.

To provide something new and with a definite wow factor, glycol towers were installed for the syrup valves. The towers with a led lighted coke logo frozen within ice ensured the cinema with a point of difference and a patron talking point like no other.

The patron experience was also complimented with crystal clear, individual, crescent ice cubes produced by Hoshizaki Ice Machines.

These cubes have an extremely slow melt time, which prevents dilution of the post mix and provides the patron a premium product and experience.

Village Cinemas Doncaster is a profile venue in the Village Cinemas portfolio with the glycol design and technology setting a template for future developments.

Hoshizaki are the preferred ice machines for all Village sites as the reliability, production and quality ice contribute to a positive patron experience.
