Overview
Madame Hanoi has opened as part of Adelaide Casino’s upgrade.
The space previously housed Loco – a dated nightclub, before it underwent a total revamp into a sophisticated restaurant led by Chef Nic Watt.
Nic Watt is an Australian born traveler and food lover. He has utilised his cooking skills in senior positions in Michelin starred restaurants such as Nobu and the Park Hyatt in London amongst other venues around the world.
His experience and background in technical Japanese cooking, and passion for Asian cuisine, are the reasons he has opened his own Asian style restaurant.
What inspired Nic to create Madame Hanoi’s Vietnamese French menu is Saigon. Saigon, which was named Ho Chi Minh until it was conquered by the French in 1859 is the largest city in Vietnam.
Saigon is stamped with French influence in its architecture, street names and cuisine and Nic Watt’s restaurant features dishes which distinctly demonstrate this combination of cultures.
