Case Study

Coopers Alehouse Gepps Cross

Overview

Gepps Cross Hotel closed its doors after a fire burnt and destroyed parts of the venue. It required a complete re-build of the hotel, thus Coopers Brewing and Gepps Cross joined forces to build Coopers Alehouse Gepps Cross.

Part of the building is a heritage site so the façade had to be kept, but the inside was to be completely revamped.

The venue manager wanted to create a great atmosphere for a food, beverage and dining experience. Coopers Brewing in conjunction with Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group were looking for an equipment supplier that could provide them with an installation which catered to the new bars and the heritage site within the building.

Solution

Lancer was appointed to complete the beer dispensing equipment installation, supplying and installing 42 beer taps across the 5 bars including two function rooms and an outdoor bar.

Lancer designed custom founts for the venue in conjunction with Coopers which are a standout, being featured in majority of the social media posts published by the Coopers Alehouse Gepps Cross.

Also installed was Lancer’s Elite Siberian chiller keeping Coopers ales at prime temperature.

To offer the comfort of an old school brewery with a contemporary laid back style, Lancer designed a special cool room layout with signage and a viewing window, to enhance the beer and brewery experience.

Results

The state of the art venue has been busy since opening night and is a venue both the customer and Lancer are very proud of.
